Run-Fit addresses the specific needs of runners: it enhances strength & dynamic flexibility to prevent knee and low-back pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and other common injuries. Each class includes running drills to improve form and low-to-moderate intensity plyometrics to increase power and agility. Run-Fit will make you feel strong and fast for your races and training runs and is perfect for runners of any distance, from 5K’s to marathons.

Marathon & Half-Marathon

Endurance sports, including marathon, are some of the most physically demanding sports in the world as they they require mental toughness, cardiovascular strength, and optimal efficiency.

Whether you have a goal to run your first marathon or qualify for Boston, SPC can help! Our Marathon Training program is the most comprehensive program around and includes three coached workouts per week: interval training, functional strength training classes (Run-Fit) and long runs on Saturday mornings (various San Diego locations). The program also includes educational seminars and lectures on speed development, nutrition, recovery, and more! We also encourage the group to meet for workouts outside of the official training sessions.

  • Detailed, Written Training Program (13 Weeks for Half, 19 Weeks for Full)
  • Educational Clinics (Nutrition, Raceday Strategies, Injury Prevention)
