Physical Therapist
Sean has been a physical
therapist for the past 5 years and a strength and conditioning coach
for the past 7 years. He has become well k nown for his specialty in
pediatric physical therapy and strength and conditioning. Originally from Tempe, Arizona, Sean was an avid athlete playing both soccer and baseball at Marcos de Niza High School. He went on to Northern Arizona University where he earned his BS in Exercise Science playing 4 years of collegiate soccer.
In 2001, he received his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Western
University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California..
As a strength and conditioning coach with Rehab United Sports Performance Center,
Sean directs the SPC Baseball program known as B.M.A.C.TM - Baseball Mechanics and Conditioning. Under his guidance, B.M.A.C.TM has developed into the gold standard fall/winter off-season training program for baseball and softball. His extensive knowledge in throwing mechanics not only comes from his year's of playing baseball, but also from his specialty in human biomechanics and applied functional science. Sean is a graduate fellow of applied functional science from the Gray Institute for Functional Transformation, a designation held only by approximately 200 clinicians around the world! Together with our baseball specific strength training regiment, the B.M.A.C.TM program has kids/adults throwing and hitting the ball with significant increases in velocity, power and accuracy while drastically reducing the likelihood of injury.
Sean is also a pediatric physical therapist. His knowledge has been vital to our
development of speed, strength, and fitness programs for the young athlete. His services have been requested by such organizations as Athletes Helping
Athletes (AHA), The Abilities Center, National Sports Center for the Disabled, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
