Bryan has been a physical therapist in the San Diego community since 1998. Bryan received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and Health Sciences from the University of New England where he was a 4 year All-American in Men’s Soccer. He is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Bryan’s goal with Rehab United is to change lives through functional physical therapy and performance enhancement for the San Diego community. Rehab United and its partners are the means by which that goal can become a reality.
Under the mentorship of many great San Diego therapists he was able to gain a substantial understanding of evaluation and treatment via manual rehabilitation. He has further progressed as a skilled therapist using the most recent rehabilitation techniques through functional biomechanics. Applying the skills learned through a close professional and personal relationship with renowned therapist Gary Gray. Bryan just completed a year-long fellowship called GIFT. The Gray Institute for Functional Transformation (GIFT) is designed to enable participants to achieve proficiency, competence, confidence, and credibility in all aspects of Applied Functional Science through an understanding of functional principles, strategies, and techniques appropriate for use with patients and clients of all types and for all purposes including prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. As a facilitator, and graduate fellow, Bryan not only is an active member in the fellowship curriculum, but is instrumental in the development, progression, and mentorship of other fellows!
Through his experience, along with his brother Sean, he was able to focus on creating Rehab United Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, Inc. Rehab United is a one of a kind environment for rehabilitation, physical therapy, and recovery of function. There is a strong emphasis on a family practice; building Rehab United with his brother Sean Hill, who also created the pediatric division of Rehab United, Therapeeds Pediatric Physical Therapy Services TM, and treating with a philosophy that stands alone in the community. The Hills are finally fulfilling their dream of bringing a facility that is all encompassing and built on principals to the San Diego region. Bryan is also well known for his expertise in sport specific rehabilitation and strength training working with many Olympic, professional, and semi-professional athletes through rehabilitation and sports performance training.
Bryan has been the head strength and conditioning coach for the San Diego Arsenal Football Club since 1999, serves as one of the rehabilitation and strength consultants for Poway High School Men's Lacrosse, the Albion Soccer Club, and a speed coach for Pro Select Soccer. Specializing in biomechanics, Bryan is able to work with all athletes of any sport. On a regular basis working with AVP pro volleyball tour athletes; Baseball, Lacrosse, Hockey, Track, Cross-Country, Tennis, and Football traveling teams; including dancers, marathoners, and many more. |

Sean has been a physical therapist since 2001 and a certified strength and conditioning specialist since 1997. He brings extensive experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, and strength and conditioning for all ages and sports and is Rehab United's "Jack of All Trades." Sean not only treats orthopedic and neurological injuries and conditions for all ages, but he founded and directs the pediatric division of Rehab United; Therapeeds Pediatric Physical Therapy Services TM.
Sean began his formal pediatric physical therapy career as a P.T. student intern here in San Diego at Children's Hospital in 2000 while in physical therapy school. Upon graduation from P.T. school in 2001, he spent two years working with California Children's Services in Orange County. He quickly established himself as a specialist in functional pediatric physical therapy effectively pioneering and applying his functional, biomechanical approach to pediatric developmental and orthopedic rehabilitation. In addition, Sean developed and instructed other therapists at CCS in manual wheelchair wheelie training, balance, and advanced negotiation skills with the help of his clients who went through the wheelchair training program themselves. The program has been further developed here at Rehab United and Therapeeds and is called Skillz on Wheelz TM. Sean returned to Children's Hospital of San Diego in 2003, before opening Rehab United, to continue in pediatrics at the main hospital in-patient department and predominantly at the previous satellite outpatient facility in Rancho Bernardo. Sean has also developed a functional strength and conditioning program specifically for kids with Cerebral Palsy called Palsy PowerTM to promote independent mobility, confidence, and participation in sports. The program includes upright functional strength training, endurance, balance, transitions and object manipulation skills.
Sean is proud to announce that he recently got married to his beautiful wife Erynne on 11/11/07 here in San Diego with the entire Rehab United past and present staff with them to celebrate RU style! |

Justin brings a new element to the family at Rehab United and we are very excited that he's with us! Justin is a Registered Sports Dietitian, as well as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, and is fired up about his opportunity to contribute to an awesome staff and facility at Rehab United/SPC. He recently completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University in May 2007 and holds several fitness certifications including Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), USA Weightlifting Club Coach, Certified Health/Fitness Instructor (ACSM), and Certified Personal Trainer (ACE). Justin just became a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics of which there are only 160 dietitians with this distinction in the country and only 17 in the state of California! The Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the United States.
His interest in nutrition and fitness began as a young motocross racer, after reading an article on eating well to increase performance. In high school Justin wrestled and ran track, but the eventual lack of calls and letters from scouts led him to the realization that competing at the Division I collegiate level was beyond reach. Justin soon turned his focus to improving the performance and lives of others and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2003 with a dual degree in Nutrition and Kinesiology and later completed his dietetic internship at the University of Houston. His experience includes training athletes from the Junior High to Olympic level, teaching college courses, providing nutrition therapy to patients with a multitude of medical conditions, and presenting sport nutrition and fitness lectures to an array of audiences. He also works as the strength & conditioning coach for the SDSU Women’s Lacrosse team. Justin grew up in the Los Angeles area and, thus, bleeds Dodger blue (but hopes Padre fans won’t hold that against him too much). His dream of becoming a rock star faded some time ago and he now aspires to share his passion for fitness and nutrition through training and educating elite athletes as a strength coach and dietitian. Justin has been instrumental in establishing Rehab United's new nutrition lecture series, which started on April 18, 2007 to an amazing turnout of over 80 community participants. The lecture series will be held here at Rehab United (except the cooking demo at SDSU this July, time/date TBD) about every 4-6 weeks. Rehab United clients are free and admission for newcomers is only a $5 donation to the Rehab United Scholarship Fund and other Rehab United charities. Keep your eyes posted to the Rehab United home page under Events soon for the updated nutrition lecture series schedule and promotions. < Go to Top > |

Debbie Scott Chief Financial Officer-Rehab United Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Center Debbie, aka “Deborah J”, was born in raised in the city that never sleeps - Las Vegas, Nevada. As a matter of fact, her father William J. Moore II, was one of the founders of what we all know as the Las Vegas Strip. He was an architect, pioneer and general manager of the second hotel ever built on the strip in 1949, originally named The Last Frontier. It was the first “theme resort” in Las Vegas and effectively set the tone for the monstrous themed resorts that compete on the strip today! For some of you old enough to remember The Last Frontier, it also had the famous Silver Slipper Saloon with its trademark slipper in lights spinning atop the building. That slipper has since retired to the Vegas graveyard, yet the family still has poker chips from that saloon and other memorabilia. Debbie’s father went on to build and manage the El Cortez (still going strong and once owned by Bugsy Siegal) and the Showboat on Freemont Street (The Castaways since 2000). Up until the Showboat’s change in ownership in 2000, Bill’s picture was still proudly displayed in the lobby! Bill was a pioneer ahead of his time, involved in a lot of firsts in Las Vegas, such as the $1.99 steak dinner, bringing championship boxing to the strip, and first pool on the strip to name a few. For information regarding the family’s history and involvement in the development of Las Vegas, Nevada, Debbie’s mother Patricia was very wise, before she passed away in 1993, by archiving most of Bill’s legacy at the UNLV library for her family, friends, and interested community members to learn from and enjoy for many years to come. After finishing at Las Vegas High School, Debbie went up north to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education, with a minor in English, from the University of Nevada – Reno. There she was acitve in many school activities and President of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity (Sorority, but Pi Phi IS acutally a fraternity-FYI). She then became a very well-liked and respected Business teacher at Earl Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada. She moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1973 and Sean was born a year later. She went to work for First National Bank as a temporary position so that they could buy a house to corral Sean and Bryan, who arrived less than 2 years later in 1976. She ended up remaining with the bank through its various name changes and mergers from First National to First Interstate to now Wells Fargo for the next 19 years. She gained valuable experience within the financial services industry including marketing, promotions, training, operations and administration. She went on to become a consultant in the financial services industry, and other types of companies, developing and implementing training programs, documenting procedures, project management, and completing computer conversions for Home Savings of America, First Chicago Bank, Bank One, Tosco Corporation, and Wells Fargo Bank. It makes sense why Debbie has also become known as “The Jack of All Trades” around Rehab United, always willing to wear more than one hat at a time and step in where needed with a smile and great attitude! Debbie says, “My greatest accomplishment was raising two fabulous sons that are the owners of this dynamic company. I had the opportunity to support their many activities in school and extra curricular activities by volunteering and keeping them involved in the community.” She is essentially the foundation AND the reason Rehab United exists today! < Go to Top > |
