Fun Fact About You: I didn’t know I wanted to be a PT until I was introduced to RU
Biography: Bre was born and raised in San Diego, California. Her hobby growing up was Irish dance and she competed at a local, regional, and national level. She always knew she wanted a job that involved helping others, so she pursued Speech-Language Pathology at San Diego State University. After graduating in 2011, she was looking to gain more experience in the healthcare field and was introduced to Rehab United through a mutual friend. She started working at the front office at Kearny Mesa (RU1) and quickly began to love everything RU and physical therapy had to offer. She returned to school part-time to complete pre-requisites to apply to PT schools and shifted her role at the company to work as an aide.

The day she was finally accepted to the SDSU DPT program was one of the greatest days of her life. She is currently in her second year of the program and loves that she is still able to work at Escondido (RU4) a few hours a week. When she is not studying, she is reading for pleasure, binge-watching FRIENDS, or checking out local ice cream spots around town with friends.

Bre is grateful that she has several mentors at Rehab United that have inspired, supported, and motivated her to pursue a career in this field. She loves physical therapy because she feels it is something everyone can benefit from at some point in their life and she looks forward to playing her role in that when she graduates in 2022.
Bre chose Rehab United because it is truly a family that welcomes everyone. She learns something new every time she is at work and she loves witnessing the positive impacts we have on our patients’ lives.
