Education: B.S. in Kinesiology with a Fitness Nutrition and Health Emphasis - San Diego State University, 2005; Doctor of Physical Therapy - University of St Augustine, San Diego, 2009.
Sports: Soccer, cycling (road and now mountain biking)
Hobbies: Watching movies, reading, puzzles
Favorite Foods: Sandwiches and burritos
Whom You Admire / Favorite Mentor: I have always looked up to and admired my Dad as a great example of a father and man. I am lucky to have Bryan and Sean as mentors. They have helped me find and grow into the professional I am today.
Nickname: The only nickname that I have had for any period of time is Topher.
Fun Fact About You: I am a huge Disney fan of both movies and Disneyland!
Biography: Chris graduated in 2009 from the inaugural class of the University of St Augustine –San Diego Campus with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. Chris's history with Rehab United began in 2004 when he started with the company as a volunteer and then progressed to PT Aide and Strength & Conditioning/Performance Coach. Chris most recently returned to Rehab United as a PT and the first aide to make the round trip back to the clinic as a therapist. Chris recently has expanded to sports performance and is working to expand the Rehab United classes both in-house and within the community.
Chris moved from Redwood City, CA near San Francisco to San Diego to attend San Diego State University in 2000. At SDSU, Chris played soccer while majoring in Kinesiology. After his time with the varsity soccer team, Chris helped to form a competitive club team at SDSU. Chris graduated from SDSU with a BS in Kinesiology in 2005. Soon after graduating from the University of St Augustine, Chris was married to his long-time girlfriend Andrea, on February 13, 2010. Chris and Andrea welcomed a healthy baby boy in July 2013! Chris still plays soccer and is a huge movie buff with a large personal movie collection.
