Biography: Davon Davis is a California native. Raised here in San Diego by a single mother, Penny Mason, who is responsible for making him the man he is today. Davon attended Mission Bay High School where he lettered in Track, Basketball, and Football.
He was awarded for his accomplishments on the football field by receiving a scholarship to Baker University in Baldwin City, KS in 2004. While playing football, he was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2009. Staying active during the college years, he was 1 of 6 responsible for charting a chapter of the fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. on the Baker campus. Advocating achievement with the Fraternity and maintaining a GPA above 3.0, he was inducted into Order of Omega, the leadership honor society for members of Fraternities/Sororities.
After graduating and returning home, he was employed at the company as a Physical Therapy Aide and Sports Performance Coach. Not fully satisfied with his position in the company or in life, he chose to further his education in the Physical Therapy field by gaining acceptance and graduating from the Physical Therapy Assistance program at the Penn Valley College in 2015. He is very excited to come full circle and return to the RU team as a Licensed PTA.
Like everyone on the RU Team, Davon is very active in a variety of activities with multiple talents. In his free time, Davon enjoys playing sports, making music, going to the movies, and spending as much time with his family, Wife Brittani, and his two sons Davon Jr. and Desmond.
