Biography: Gabriella was born and raised in New Jersey, where she began training as a ballet dancer at age 9. At 17, she decided to pursue ballet professionally, and she moved to Texas to train with the Houston Ballet. She performed with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, and Richmond Ballet before moving to San Diego in 2014 to join City Ballet of San Diego. After four years at City Ballet, Gabriella retired from dancing and began pursuing her next passion. She is currently a 4th-year Kinesiology Pre-PT student at SDSU, expected to graduate in May 2022 with hopes of enrolling in a DPT program immediately after.
When she’s not studying, Gaby enjoys spending time with friends, trying out new restaurants, and taking advantage of San Diego’s weather by getting outside as much as possible, whether it be backcountry camping, biking, or just catching a sunset on the beach. If she could pick a superpower it would be teleportation—imagine never having to sit in traffic again!
Gabriella is excited to be joining the RU team because of the high level of care and education that goes into every patient and staff member. She looks forward to being a part of this wonderful and welcoming community!
