Biography: Kirstin is a California certified massage therapist pursuing a focus in the prevention of injuries, rehabilitation, and pain-relief: remedial massage that brings results. Her style incorporates Tui Na Medical Massage, acupressure, myofascial techniques, and stretches. Some of her most rewarding experience has been working an internship at Rady Children's Hospital and at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Clinic.
Kirstin decided to pursue massage not just as a career, but as a calling, after she saw how it both enhanced her own health and made an incredible difference in the life of her friend following a traumatic motorcycle accident. Her goal is to aid people like her friend in their journey to recovery and pain relief.
Kirstin grew up in a military family and has lived in San Diego for 16 years. She has worked at summer camps and after school programs mentoring children and has always enjoyed volunteering her time at military outreach events and in international service projects.
Her husband is in the military and in their free time, you can find them hiking and camping with their german shepherd Sequoia.
Kirstin is excited to be part of Rehab United - to learn from this excellent team that is centered on providing quality and genuine care for their patients.
