Biography: Lizzy is a Speech-Language Pathologist from Chicago. She was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Chicago, and is the youngest and only girl of her siblings. Her immediate family is all in Chicago and she enjoys getting back to Chicago several times a year. She has worked in schools, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics since graduating from graduate school. She moved to the San Diego area in 2017 after feeling the need for change and new challenges and has not looked back since!
Lizzy has a passion for physical fitness and staying active, but also enjoys a cocktail with a beach view and a good book/good company. In her free time, she walks dogs, too. During COVID, she picked up gardening and a new appreciation for coffee, which she plans to continue. If Lizzy could have one superpower, she would have unlimited teleportation skills.
Lizzy was stoked to join the RU team to expand her knowledge and experience, grow both professionally and personally, and meet new people. She hopes to build new, lasting relationships and call RU “home” for many years to come!
