Biography: Michelle was born and raised in Oak Park, CA where she played fast-pitch softball all 4 years in high school. She went on to play college ball at Santa Barbara City College, and then decided to pursue the Athletic Training program at San Diego State. Having an appreciation for living a healthy life, being an athlete herself, and having a fascination with the human body, Michelle knew PT school was her ultimate goal. She completed the doctorate program to become a Physical Therapist at the University of Saint Augustine in 2016. Michelle was fortunate to gain experience working with a wide variety of patients including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological and athletic populations.
Typically over the summer, Michelle looks forward to her family vacation in Mammoth where she loves to fish and hike; native brookies are her favorite for their vibrant colors! As an extreme foodie, Michelle also loves to cook and explore different recipes to share with family and friends.
Michelle chose RU to become part of a lively team who truly makes physical therapy fun and functional through the AFS approach. She also values giving back to the community through volunteer opportunities, which RU makes possible on a regular basis.
