Meet the Team

Over the last 15 years, our family has grown from a team of three to a team of over 80 staff members! Our "cRUw" is key to our success as an organization and we truly take pride in the family we've built over the years.

Mike Kastan, BFR-1

Lead Physical Therapy Aide

Biography: Michael grew up in El Cajon CA, and as the son of a coach found himself involved early in life with sports, centered predominantly around Football, Track & Field, and Baseball.  Attending local Valhalla High School before enrolling at San Diego State University, he had enjoyed an unfortunately short time as a member of the SDSU Club Rugby team before injuries prevented him from continuing any further into the sport. While it did bring about an end to one passion, it did help spark another interest; physical therapy.

Motivated to help others after the trials he faced himself, Michael spends much of his time trying to improve himself and learn all that he can to further his pursuit of becoming a Physical Therapist. In what spare time he has, Michael enjoys being with friends and family, all manner of exercise, and attempting to expand his culinary skills. When asked why he choose Rehab United, the answer was simple: after graduating college, he felt that he knew everything needed to prepare him for Physical Therapy school. After his first day as a volunteer at RU3, he realized that he still had much more to learn and even more room to grow in the physical therapy world.
