Fun Fact About You: I am lefty in everything from head to toe, and I have had my Achilles tendon speared.

Biography: Nash was born in San Diego and moved away when he was 5 up north to Sacramento! He moved around all throughout the west coast but ended up coming back down to San Diego for college at Point Loma Nazarene University. He plans to stay in San Diego until PT school takes him elsewhere, but his total stay has been almost 10 years now!

Nash has worked a lot of on-campus jobs at Point Loma, including running a strength and conditioning class at the school’s weight shed, running a softball league via intramurals, being an RA, and serving chicken at the glorious Chick-Fil-A. He was also ASB President for his school during his final year!

Studying Kinesiology at Point Loma was one of the greatest experiences that Nash has ever had in his life. Every class, he would consume every bit of knowledge he could. They also had the fittest department at their school, including their professors. A lot of them were the reason that Nash wanted to continue to pursue his passion for the human body.

Once Nash quit soccer after high school, he knew he needed to find something to stay active. That is when he found the wonderful gym. He loves lifting weights and has been doing it for almost 4 years now. It is still his number one method of improving his mental health. He also loves playing Spikeball, either on the beach or on grass. Nash feels it is a game that requires athleticism, and with him being very competitive, he desires to become a pro. Nash has a pet Corgi, named Kona, and she is a Queen.

If he could have a superpower, Nash would for sure have telekinesis (moving things with your mind). He is a big fan of Star Wars, so having The Force was always a desire of his. This power is also a secret loophole to another superpower: flight. He could technically pick himself up with his mind, allowing him to fly through the world and see everything from a different perspective. Plus...who doesn’t want to fly?

Nash has always had a drive for physical therapy. He loves the human body and he loves people. He had several friends that were patients who all had fruitful experiences and are kicking butt back in the world again. He also had friends that worked at RU and said how powerful it was to “give back” and help others and how the atmosphere of the clinic was inclusive and encouraging, which was right up his alley.
