Before attending graduate school, Levi was involved in six months of outpatient physical therapy treatment in Southern California, in addition to 12 weeks as a physical therapy student in the emergency department at UCSD. When he attended Long Beach State for graduate school, he was able to treat patients with neurological deficits who had no access to physical therapy treatment at the pro bono neurologic clinic.
