State of Rehab United: Community Update 11/20/20

As you may already know, it was announced earlier last week that San Diego county has been moved back into the restrictive purple tier based on California's guidelines for COVID-19. As a result, many businesses were once again mandated to adjust operations accordingly as of last Saturday through the next three weeks, at least, until the number of cases decreases significantly.

As we always strive to maintain communication and transparency, we would like to update you on how this will affect our operations here at Rehab United.

Physical Therapy

As an essential healthcare business, our physical therapy services will not be affected by the business restrictions put into place by this move back into the “purple” tier. We will continue to operate as we have since March, with your family's safety top of mind.

Massage Therapy

Massage falls under “personal care services” which are also able to remain open with modifications. Because we are located within a healthcare setting, RU Massage & Wellness observes the state-outlined guidance on massage in a healthcare setting and we will continue to operate under these guidelines.

Thank you for your continued trust in us and our dedicated team.

We truly recognize that we, as a community, have a shared responsibility to adhere to all government guidelines and help slow the spread of this virus. As we continue to operate through these next couple of months, we will remain vigilant and committed to the safety and sanitation protocols that we put in place at the beginning of this pandemic, which has ensured the continued safety of our patients, employees, and their families.

For any questions or concerns regarding our operations, please do not hesitate to contact any of our facilities and our team members will be more than happy to help.

Take care, stay safe, and be well!
