Nickname: Sam
Biography: Sam came to San Diego for her undergraduate at Point Loma Nazarene University in order to play volleyball, and graduated with a BS in Applied Health Science. She then went to San Diego State University to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2019. She has traveled to Thailand on a medical mission trip through SDSU in order to treat locals who did not have access to healthcare, where she worked with translators to educate and provide hands-on treatment.
She was introduced to Rehab United when she injured her knee in college volleyball and finished up her rehab at the Carmel Valley location, where she fell in love with the mission of the company and the philosophy of AFS. She is now AFS certified and plans to continue her education throughout her career.
Sam spends her free time watching sunsets at Mission Beach, finding new restaurants in San Diego, and traveling as much as she can. She plays beach volleyball with her friends, LOVES dogs, and will always eat dessert with you!
