Biography: Sarah grew up in San Diego, California and attended San Diego State University where she received her B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies and then returned to SDSU for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In graduate school she participated in research in Women’s Health PT which sparked her passion in helping individuals with pelvic floor dysfunctions. While in school she sought continuing education in pelvic health by taking the first two Herman and Wallace women and men’s pelvic floor assessment and treatment courses. Aside from her passion for physical therapy, she also has a passion for animals and prides herself as a fur and feather mom with her 3 cats and 12 hens at home.
Sarah chose to pursue her career at RU because of its kind and educational environment. “I like the holistic approach that RU offers its patients, taking into consideration the whole person and treating the whole body instead of one body part at a time.” Sarah is currently working on continuing her education and eventually attaining her certification in Women’s Health PT.
