Biography: After growing up in Northern California, Tori attended college in the tundra of the Midwest at a small Christian school. She made her way back to California after some international studies took her to France. The Bay Area became her home where she worked for Hewlett-Packard (HP) in various marketing positions ranging from individual contributor to management. She was fortunate to enjoy business travel within the US and Latin America. Somewhere mixed in, she married her life partner and they moved to Vancouver, WA, with dog and toddler in tow. There, Tori managed the Singapore Division’s product marketing in North America for HP. Another move (this time for hubby’s job) brought them plus baby #2 to San Diego, which has been their home since 2000. With all that SD has to offer, they have truly enjoyed raising their two boys here who are now both college graduates.

Tori’s career change to become a CMT was due to a spinal cord injury to their oldest son in 2017.  They experienced the amazing support and work of cutting-edge rehabilitative therapies which enabled a 90% recovery for their son. However, it was the human connection of the Neuro Team, especially the PTs, that made all the difference. This life-changing event led her to seek a new path in order to give back to others who need physical, emotional, and/or soul support.  Remarkably, she had completed a Crisis Training program three months prior to her son’s accident. With additional soul-searching, she identified a desire to provide therapeutic touch and bodywork to help people recover from whatever is limiting them: stress, anxiety, injury, decreased mobility, or range of motion. Currently trained in Circulatory (Swedish), Deep Tissue, Tui Na, Sports, Neuromuscular, and Trigger Point therapies, she’s excited to add more modalities in the coming year as she completes her Holistic Health Practitioner Certification.

Tori feels blessed to have landed at Rehab United as her goal was to work in a medical setting. She looks forward to meeting you soon and would be honored to assist you on your wellness journey.
