Biography: Zoe was born in Harrow, in the Northwest suburbs of London, United Kingdom. She had always been interested in sporting activities, but from the age of 8 she focused on gymnastics where she competed at regional and national level. The sport of gymnastics required Zoe to be committed, disciplined and focused in order to achieve her goals. These qualities and lessons learned at an early age have proven to be invaluable throughout her personal and professional life; Zoe always enjoys a challenge and understands that commitment, dedication and hard work is required to obtain her goals. She retired from competitive gymnastics at the age of 16 due to injury but stayed actively involved within the sport as a qualified coach. Zoe suffered from a variety of injuries over the years of training/competing and benefited from physical therapy from an early age where her fascination with the workings of the human body began.

Zoe received a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from University of Bedfordshire, UK in 2002, during her time studying she also became interested in massage therapy. In Sept 2002, she moved to San Diego, CA and studied at the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Holistic Health. She completed over 1200 hours of massage therapy training in various techniques and graduated in 2004 as a licensed HHP therapist. Zoe worked at the IPSB Massage Therapy clinic initially as a massage therapist and then was promoted to Manager. In 2009 she moved back to the United Kingdom to be with her family.

Previous to working at Rehab United, Zoe worked as an Operations Manager in a Physical Therapy business in London for 7 years. In 2012 Zoe met her husband Houston, who is originally from San Diego while he was stationed overseas in London with the United States Navy. Houston retired from the Navy in Jan 2017 and they decided to make San Diego their home. Zoe was drawn to work at RU due to their positive, friendly, family attitude towards both the patients and co-workers. She loves being part of a team that supports one another and strives to provide excellent customer service.
