Biography
Katie is a dedicated physical therapist originally from the Philadelphia area, focused on empowering patients to achieve their highest function and mobility.
She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Shenandoah University in Virginia. Her foundation was built at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, where she studied Exercise Science with minors in Psychology and Biology. As a four-year collegiate athlete, competing in track, cross country, and cycling, Katie has a deep, personal understanding of sports performance and recovery.
After graduation, Katie spent two years as a travel physical therapist, gaining diverse experience across the country before deciding to settle down and practice in San Diego.
As a clinician, she is particularly dedicated to improving gait mechanics, with a special interest in working with runners and amputees. Katie has also recently expanded her focus, taking a keen interest in women's health and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her ultimate goal is to maximize mobility and improve her patients' overall quality of life so they can confidently achieve their personal goals.
