Biography
Kayla is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with a passion for preventing and treating sports and non-sports related injuries. Specializing in running and endurance athletes, her mission is to not only treat patients for their physical impairments but also to emphasize the importance of mental health and its role in rehabilitation.
Kayla grew up in Marblehead, MA, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Soon after, she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Tufts University. As a former competitive gymnast, she is no stranger to physical therapy, having spent significant time as a patient herself over the years.
Having discovered her passion for running, when she is not in the clinic, she can be found training for upcoming races, doing Pilates, or reading.
