Biography
Arturo's educational journey includes obtaining a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from San Diego State University. Later, in May 2008, he earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. Demonstrating his commitment to excellence, Arturo also holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, achieved through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Continuing his pursuit of knowledge and expertise, Arturo completed a year-long fellowship with the Gray Institute. This experience led him to become a Graduate Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), further enhancing his skills in this field. His passion for professional growth has continued with Arturo earning certifications in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Kinesiotaping, and Blood Flow Restriction. Arturo is also an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.
Arturo's treatment philosophy is to educate and empower his patients to have the tools necessary to manage their symptoms and progress their overall physical function, while having fun doing it. Alongside his professional pursuits, one of Arturo's passions is community outreach. Arturo has organized several community service events throughout North County with organizations like the Animal Pad, EcoLife Conservation, Escondido Soccer Club, Rotary Club of Escondido, and Interfaith Community Services. He has also helped organize park clean-ups at Kit Carson Park, Felicita Park, and Jesmond Dene Park.
