Biography
For as long as he can remember, Chris has always been drawn to the field of wellness and fitness, though he was unsure of his path until finding Rehab United. Chris was able to interview to be a coach for a summer soccer camp for college bound soccer players and observed the treatments and training style of what is now Fit Societe. After only one day in the clinic, Chris felt he had found his passion, adjusting his school plans while at SDSU to work toward going to graduate school.
Chris has been a physical therapist for 15 years now, with almost 20 years total in the coaching, PT, and fitness fields. Between the exercise knowledge and understanding he gained at Rehab United and the emphasis on manual therapies during his schooling, Chris has the ability to work with a wide variety of patients with hands-on, exercise-based treatments. Chris prides himself on being a PT generalist, working with patients of all ages and functional levels. He truly enjoys being a PT because he can help make long term changes in people’s lives, improving their function and confidence in their community. Chris loves working with patients with the various hobbies and sports, as it challenges him to be creative in the design of exercises that will help replicate their chosen activities, knowing they will have success once their treatment has concluded.
