Biography
Kap received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Olaf College, where he also competed as a collegiate baseball player. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. His clinical training included diverse rotations in orthopedic, neurologic, and sports rehabilitation settings, which provided a strong foundation for treating a wide range of conditions.
Kap’s interest in physical therapy stems from a longstanding passion for biomechanics, human movement, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on others' lives. As a former athlete, he gained firsthand experience with the power of rehabilitation, which further solidified his commitment to this profession.
Kap holds certifications in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). His continuing education has focused on foot and ankle biomechanics, rehabilitation for overhead athletes, and vestibular therapy—areas that complement his clinical interests and allow him to provide more specialized care.
Kap’s treatment philosophy centers on delivering individualized, evidence-based care through a combination of education, functional soft tissue mobilization, and movement-focused interventions. He aims to create a supportive, goal-driven environment that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.
Kap’s goal with every patient is to not only help them recover but also to build long-term resilience and confidence in their movement. Whether you're returning to sport, recovering from surgery, or working toward a healthier lifestyle, Kap is here to guide and support you every step of the way.
