Biography
Tyler completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness Specialist from San Diego State University before earning his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Throughout his clinical rotations, he developed a strong interest in sports-related injuries, orthopedics, injury prevention, and vestibular rehabilitation. His diverse background includes experience in hand therapy in Milan, Italy, as well as inpatient neurorehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics.
Tyler’s passion for fitness and performance training drives his clinical practice. Growing up involved in athletics and strength training, he became interested in how proper movement mechanics can improve both performance and quality of life. He enjoys helping patients return to the activities they love—whether that involves competitive sports, daily function, or recreational fitness. His clinical focus includes return-to-sport rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and movement analysis, all delivered through individualized treatment programs.
Originally from Los Angeles, Tyler has practiced across both Los Angeles and San Diego counties, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population. His clinical experiences have helped him develop a well-rounded approach that combines evidence-based practice with functional, patient-centered care. During his rotation in Italy, he gained valuable exposure to international healthcare settings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In addition to his clinical background, Tyler is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has completed the Applied Functional Science (AFS) certification through the Gray Institute. He remains committed to advancing his clinical knowledge with the goal of further specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
